Procurement Apprenticeships

All levels of procurement apprenticeships are available to study with us, meaning you get the same ABA service as studying any CIPS course, with the bonus of gaining a full apprenticeship.

Procurement Apprenticeships are available at Levels 3, 4, and 6

CIPS qualifications are included in all apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships with ABA give you procurement professional tutors, industry leading contact hours, outstanding resources, and most importantly, a team who care about making sure you suceed.

As an apprenticeship Main Provider we do things a little differently: our apprenticeships are designed for our apprentices. We are flexible, personable, and work to give you the best experience possible. Students have the same Skills Coach for the duration of their study, who will work closely with them to design a programme that works.

Level 3 Procurement Apprenticeship

The Level 3 procurement apprenticeships is suitable for every organisation, sector, and industry. It’s ideal for people who are new to procurement or have limited knowledge of the function. It’ll equip you to adeptly handle tasks like quotation/tender evaluation, supplier database maintenance, and purchase order review.

The course includes the CIPS Level 3 qualification too.

Duration: up to 18 months.

Level 4 Procurement Apprenticeship

The Level 4 procurement apprenticeship is perfect for people with some commercial and/or procurement experience, but can work well for those completely new to the role who are operating at a more senior level too. It focuses on competencies across the procurement cycle, emphasising contract support, and you’ll gain expertise in evaluating quotations.

This course includes the CIPS Level 4 qualification.

Duration: Up to 24 months.

Level 6 Procurement Apprenticeship

The Level 6 procurement apprenticeship is designed for senior professionals in strategic or tactical positions. It’s the final level before you can apply for MCIPS. Senior professionals in this role manage strategic and tactical procurement, ensuring compliance with laws, governance, and emphasising ethical leadership. The program equips you to set procurement strategies, manage life cycles, and oversee contracts and budgets

Duration: Up to 36 months
